"Ding dong" went the doorbell, I could feel the tension rise as the door slowly opened. it was Hayley's parents who happened to answer the door. "Who are you?" her dad questioned. "Umm...I'm Hikari, Hayley's umm, new boyfriend" I stuttered. wow I sounded pretty stupid. "So you're the boy that Hayley has been going on about lately. Come in please." her mother said in a cheerfully tone. Hayley's dad just gave me a doubtfull look and opened the door some more. "I hope I dont screw this up." I rentlessly dreaded. This is going to be one long dinner. |
